KNITTED GERBIL COLORS

How do my knitted gerbils compare to the real life colors of real gerbils? I really tried to match the colors. The yarn used most was Worsted Weight Yarn mostly either Red Heart, Wintuk or Caron.

1		Red Eyed Honey Yarn Used: TLC Essentials - Permission (Look like a Rust Color)
2		Agouti or Nutmeg Yarn Used: Super Saver Mill Grade 250 Yarn SHADED BROWN
2a		Dark Agouti or Nutmeg Yarn Used: Homespun Wool 3ply SHADED BROWN. I got this yarn in a craft swap. I love the gerbils that I knit from this yarn. Makes the gerbil more realistic. 4		Blue Yarn Used: Dark Blue is Reynolds Utopia Blue Jean Colored. The Light Blue is Red Heart Worsted.
5		Brown Gerbil Color? Yarn Used: Red Heart Worsted
6		Burmese Yarn Used: Red Heart Worst for both colors
7		Dark Tailed White, Ivory, Himalayan Yarn Used: Red Heart Worsted White and Black
8		Lilac, Dove or Sapphire Depending on the shade of the yarn
9		Mottled Black or Pied Yarn Used: Red Heart Color Zebra
10		Siamese Yarn Used: Red Heart Worsted, Black & 0334 Buff
11		Variegated. Silly Colors
12		White or PEW or REW or Ivory Yarn Used: Red Heart Worsted White
13		Yellow Fox Maybe? Yarn Used: Caron Perfect Match Worsted, Sunflower 7723
14		Black/Slate Yarn Used: Red Heart Worsted, Black & White
15		Beige with black specks (not sure what gerbil color) but they are cute. Yarn Used: Red Heart Worsted, 4334 Buff Fleck
16		Older Schimmel (modeled after my Buddy). Make the Eyes Ruby for a Red Eyed Schimmel. I am also suspecting that Buddy might have been a Spotted Himalayan. Yarn Used: Red Heart Worsted White and Orange
17		Grey Agouti Yarn Used: Red Heart Worsted Weight Heather Grey. This yarn has tiny strands of white in the yarn simulating the Grey Agouti coat. Yarn Used: Red Heart Worsted, 0400 Grey Heather I love how this yarn knits up.

21		Any Young Orange Colored Pup, Nutmeg Before Molt, Red Fox/Saffron, Argente Golden, Argente Cream, Argente Yarn Used: Red Heart Worsted, Orange and Black
22		Black/Red Black with red ears and red into the tail. It doesn't represent any real gerbil color. I think it just looks cool. Yarn Used: Red Heart Worsted Black. Red Worsted Yarn. I like to call it a "devil gerbil".

24		Black - Completely Black Yarn Used: Red Heart Worsted, Black Added: 22 December 2009 This completely black gerbil is rare in the real gerbil world. I have only seen a couple of gerbils that were completely black. Usually they have some white on them.

I welcome suggestions on yarn colors for gerbils to make them more color realistic.

Dark Eyed Honey - suggestion? Orange Maybe?

Topaz - suggestion?

Polar Fox - Slightly lighter than a Grey Agouti

Spotted Lilac - A suggestion was made to use "Linen Marl" (Red Heart/Eco-Cotton).

DEH or Dark Eyed Honey - A suggestion was made to use "Yam" (Red Heart/Eco-Ways).
