Row 1: p8, k2, p8, k2, p8 Row 2: k8, p2, k8, p2, k8 Row 3: p8, k2, p8, k2, p8 Row 4: k8, p2, k8, p2, k8 Row 5: p8, k2, p8, k2, p8 Row 6: k8, p2, sl 2 st onto cable stitch holder and hold in BACK of work, k2, k2 sts from cable stitch holder, sl 2 st onto cable stitch holder and hold in FRONT of work, k2, k2 sts from cable stitch holder, p2, k8 Repeat last six rows until piece measures approximately 17 inches. End with 4th row. The remainder of the tie will be worked in St st (knit one row, purl one row), Dec row: k2tog and the beginning ans end of next row.
